1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, first name, and password hash, handled by our authentication provider.
• Content you provide — resume text, career stories, coaching conversations, answers, and any notes you type or dictate into the product.
• Quiz and waitlist submissions — the email and scores you submit through the Starting Line Quiz or early-access form.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we store only whether your account is paid, when, and when access expires.
• Technical data — basic log and error data needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use it

To deliver coaching and generate your prep document, to authenticate you, to process payment and manage access, to send you service and (if you opted in) product emails, and to debug and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information and we do not run advertising on it.

4. AI processing

Coaching text you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) and voice recordings, if you use the microphone, are sent to a speech-to-text provider (OpenAI) purely to produce your response or transcript. These providers process the content on our behalf under their API terms and do not use it to train their models.

5. Service providers

We rely on: Supabase (database, authentication), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI coaching), and OpenAI (voice transcription). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

6. Storage and retention

Your account content is retained while your account exists and for [RETENTION PERIOD] after you request deletion, to allow for accidental-deletion recovery and to meet accounting obligations. Data is stored in [DATA REGION].

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and content by emailing groundworkprepai@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Access to your content is restricted to your own account through row-level database policies, all traffic is encrypted in transit, and payment credentials never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

9. Children

Groundwork is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes and, for material changes, notify you by email.
